#BeTheDifference During Back-to-School Season with Youth MHFA

COVID-19 has impacted everyone, including young people. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, young people have faced changes to their routines, breaks in continuity of learning, missed significant life events and more.

In addition to these changes, young people are now going back to school. Whether they're attending classes virtually or in-person, their experiences will likely be different because of COVID-19. This change can impact their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. As parents, teachers, caregivers and neighbors, it's vital you have the latest information and resources needed to support young people as they navigate this new normal.

That's why this month, we are sharing information on how Youth MHFA can help. Youth MHFA teaches adults who regularly interact with young people how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health challenges. We've compiled tips and resources from the Youth MHFA Curriculum in this toolkit to help you support youth around you, especially during COVID-19.

Check out the graphic and blog posts below for ways you can #BeTheDifference for young people.

We're sharing all of this on social media too -- follow us on TwitterFacebook and Instagram!
