Free Admission to NOMA on May 18, 2017

We know many cancer patients and survivors struggle with financial issues. We try to highlight free events in the metro New Orleans area so that everyone can take advantage of them. On Thursday, May 18, 2017, NOMA offers FREE ADMISSION to all visitors as part of the Association of Art Museum Directors' (AAMD) Art Museum Day. The theme of this year's Art Museum Day is Art Museums Foster Vibrant Communities. AAMD members across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico will be offering programs and initiatives to celebrate the arts and the important role art museums play in their communities. In addition to bringing the best of human creativity to people across North America, museums serve as engines for the creative economy, partners with school systems and civic organizations, and anchors for public spaces and neighborhoods, making their regions better places for everyone. We invite visitors to share their experiences on Art Museum Day via social media, with the hashtag #ArtMuseumDay.  MUSEUM HOURS Tuesday - Thursday | 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday | 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday | 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday | 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Closed Mondays  SYDNEY AND WALDA BESTHOFF SCULPTURE GARDEN Open 7 days a week with free admission  Monday - Friday | 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday - Sunday | 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
