Ken Griffey Sr. Talks Prostate Cancer
A prostate cancer survivor himself, the two-time World Series champion is speaking up about the disease and encouraging others to do the same. For Major League Baseball fans, “Ken Griffey” is a household name. In the early 90s, Ken Griffey Sr. and Ken Griffey Jr. made history when they became the first father and son pair to play on the same MLB team at the same time. However, baseball talent isn’t the only thing that runs in the family for the Griffeys. They also share a family history of prostate cancer.
