Now that you've completed Assess Your Risk (wait, haven't done it yet? You're missing out!) learn to manage your risk proactively. After taking Assess Your Risk, most women wonder:

What does my risk really mean?
Average, Increased, High…read up on what factors define your risk level and recommended actions you can take. No matter which category you fall into, there’s always something you can to do be proactive and reduce your risk.

How do I find out more about genetic risk?
Whether you have an increased or high risk results, or are just curious about how genes affect your risk, ExploreYourGenetics.org explains everything you need to know related to genetics and breast and ovarian cancer, genetic counseling, and genetic testing.

How do I talk to my doctor about my risk?
If you still have your Assess Your Risk results handy, print them and bring this guide to your next visit with a health provider. Both will empower you to start the conversation about developing your unique preventive healthcare plan.

Side note: Be sure to visit your health provider at least once a year, even when you feel perfectly healthy, for your annual well-woman's exam.

My results say I’m at increased or high risk. How can I talk to women in my risk group?  
You’re not alone.
