During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, many people adopt a “Think Pink” attitude and splash photos full of pink support across their Facebook and Instagram feeds. While this does raise awareness for the second leading cause of death in U.S. women, it doesn’t show the raw reality of what it’s like to go through breast cancer treatment, or what it’s like surviving the deadly disease.
