Charity Bryan found a lump on her breast when she was only 26, but was told she was too young for cancer and she should “keep an eye on it.” For eight months she felt constant shooting pain in her breast and even noticed an inverted nipple. After multiple tests, she was diagnosed with stage 3c inflammatory breast cancer.
Follow Bryan’s photo journey, from shaving her head before chemo to recovering after a non-skin sparing mastectomy. Then see why “keeping an eye on it” just isn’t enough.
