 ...run breast cancer out of town! Our 21st Annual Race for the Cure® raised over $450,000 with 8,000+ survivors and supporters for Race Day in October! We were so thrilled to have Angela Hill and Fran Love as our 21st year Honorary Survivor Chairs and grateful to welcome our First Lady of Louisiana, Donna Edwards, and our Affiliate Founder, Pat Denechaud as our Honorary Race Chairs.

...celebrate our biggest mission day of the year! In April 2017, Komen New Orleans granted $329,000 to fund life-saving breast cancer screening, treatment, and education projects right here in our community. Our grant recipients are: St. Thomas Community Health Center, CAGNO, West Jefferson Women's Imaging and Breast Care Center, The Foundation for the LSU Health Sciences Center-UMC Breast Center, Mary Bird Perkins at St. Tammany Parish Hospital Cancer Program, UMC, West Jefferson Outpatient Rehab Dept, Access Health LA, Foundation for Woman's.

The award winning Windsor Court Hotel hosted our 16th Annual Summer Cure Chefs Wine Dinner in August, which featured breakout rockstar chefs, including Chef Bill Briand of Fisher's at Orange Beach Marina, Chef Michelle Weaver of Charleston Grill, Chef Justin Devillier of La Petite Grocery, Chef Beth Biundo of Beth Biundo Sweets & our host Executive Chef Vlad Ahmadyarov of The Grill Room at Windsor Court. Thank you to these chefs and our corporate partner, the Windsor Court Hotel, for their continued support of such a fabulous event.
