On September 21st, Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden are hosting a national Biden Cancer Summit to focus on the patient’s journey from prevention through a cancer diagnosis, treatment through survivorship, and determine what we must do to accelerate progress.
We will hold an event in Washington, D.C., and ask you to get involved by hosting one in your community. We believe the only way to make these discussions relevant is to make it resonate throughout the country – in places where we live, work, learn, and play.
Host a Biden Cancer Community Summit customized to address local needs and concerns. Resources will be made available to help set the stage for constructive conversations. Each community event can tap into activity and discussions in Washington, D.C.
Throughout the day, we hope to have a shared cancer narrative and action plan emerge that ties us all together, FIERCE in our commitment to improve the cancer journey for all.
Together, we can make hope real.
