Representatives from the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) will provide information sessions and answer questions about their mentoring, employment readiness, and enrichment services. For ages 16 - 24. They will have applications for individuals who want to apply.

This event is part of a series of presentations designed to help you live a healthier lifestyle. In partnership with Tulane Brinton Family Health and Healing Center’s nutrition and wellness group, Krewe de Lose, and AARP Louisiana. Free energy-efficient light bulbs provided by Energy Wise. Blue Bikes memberships provided for those who qualify.

A colorful five-generation family history begins this delicious book focusing on the second oldest family-owned restaurant in a city known for great food. Inside the pages of this savory recipe history shared by the DeFelice family are dishes carefully curated by culinary preservationist Poppy Tooker and written out so you can recreate your favorite Pascal's Manale dishes at home. Sponsored by the Friends of Hubbell Library.

Letters Read: Desegregating NOLA Libraries
Listen to a live reading of original source material carefully edited into a narrative explaining how and when New Orleans Public Libraries desegregated. This is the ninth in the ongoing LETTERS READ series of live events in which local performers interpret personal letters written by culturally vital individuals from various times in New Orleans communities. It will be presented by stationer Nancy Sharon Collins and Antenna.
