Dear Friends,
Wow. We have a lot to share - and we hope it gets you excited.
From working with Airbnb to provide free housing to patients and caregivers traveling for treatment, to partnering with Walgreens, to adding a book to our reading list that includes a chapter written by our research leaders, we've been reaching more and more patients in the U.S. and beyond.
Plus, we have three opportunities for you to lift your voice - including a special survey for MBC patients.
See below to learn more about these resources and feel free to forward to your friends and loved ones.
In Appreciation,
The Cancer Support Community Team

#TeamMarin Goes the Distance for Patients
In February, we announced that Broadway star Jason Danieley would run with Brian d'Arcy James in the 2019 United Airlines NYC Half in #TeamMarin, a special team created in honor of Jason's late wife, three-time Tony nominee Marin Mazzie (who passed away from ovarian cancer last September).
On March 17, we celebrated Jason, Brian, and our other four team members by cheering them on in New York City during the big Half Marathon weekend.

Walgreens, Cancer Support Community Expand Feel More Like You™ Campaign
On March 4, we joined with Walgreens in announcing the expansion of Feel More Like You™. This is a first-of-its-kind pharmacy, health and beauty service available at no cost to help people living with cancer manage the medical and physical changes associated with cancer treatment.
As part of the program, more than 15,000 Walgreens pharmacists and beauty consultants at more than 3,000 stores across the U.S. will receive empathy training to address the holistic impact of cancer on patients. The national launch follows a successful pilot program that began in spring 2018.

CSC Research Leaders Write Chapter On Our Services for Caregivers
In service of our commitment to caregivers, we are excited to share that our research leaders have authored a book chapter on caregiving published by Oxford University Press. The chapter is included in 'Cancer Caregivers,' which is dedicated to the science of cancer caregiving and the support that is available to caregivers in their community.
We're proud of the Research and Training Institute's leaders for bringing caregivers to the forefront of the cancer conversation, and are excited to extend our work into 2019 and beyond!
