Maybe cancer has made me richer.
Since my diagnosis I have gone out of my way to enjoy life in any way possible. The healing process wasn't pleasant, but it is what I have done on the other side of cancer that has made a difference.
There has been no holding back and you could say I have improved awareness of living out an active bucket list. Traveling; trying new foods or restaurants; learning new recipes; enjoying art classes; embracing friendships; exercising; writing professionally; speaking and teaching at conferences; and creating important family memories have been some of the things I am richer in.
