Advocacy Request from the American Cancer Society

Cathy,

Who would have thought a postage stamp could save lives? In this case, it can.

Since it was first created, the breast cancer stamp has raised almost $90 million for breast cancer research. More funding for breast cancer research means more lives saved from the disease.

But, unless Congress acts, this lifesaving stamp won’t be available next year, which could mean less funding for breast cancer research.

Please take one minute to send a message to your U.S. Senators asking them to renew the stamp. It will really only take a minute of your time.

This is a simple, yet impactful way you can help make sure breast cancer research gets the funding it needs. We’re not asking you to give, and we’re not even asking Congress for money. All they need to do is vote to make sure the stamp is available next year.

Please make sure your Senators hear from you.

Thank you.
