At Bright Pink, we’re committed to empowering all women on their journeys toward brighter, healthier futures. The Brightest Day, which is coming up on August 12, 2020, celebrates these journeys and lifts up stories about the brightest days of every woman—past, present, and future.

For more than a decade, we have been educating, inspiring, and activating young women, 18-40, to know their risk for breast and ovarian cancer, and to take risk reducing actions appropriate to their circumstances. Our impact has been far reaching. More than 1.7 million women have used our Assess Your Risk tool to determine their appropriate steps for protecting their breast and ovarian health. We remind more than 30,000 women monthly about ways they can maintain their breast health through our Bright Health Reminder program. And we have supported more than 600,000 women at elevated risk for breast and ovarian cancer through their journeys to take charge of their health.

We know that not every journey is easy – especially in today’s times. Bright Pink is here to ensure that all women have the information, resources, and tools they need to take charge of their health and get the care they need and deserve no matter what their circumstance.

That is why we have recently shared life-saving information for women about how to navigate no and low-cost care options, use telehealth, and know when to wait or to move forward with screening and risk-reducing health actions in the era of COVID-19.

We are so inspired by so many women who have generously shared their journeys so that other women have the information and support they need to take on their own journeys. Brianna Meade, a longtime Bright Pink champion, is one of our most inspiring and bold advocates. She opens her heart, mind, and communications channels up to support women close to her, as well as women she has never met, through their experiences with risk-reducing actions for breast and ovarian health. She is a maverick who shares Bright Pink’s goal to create a new norm for breast and ovarian health that makes it the default for women, 18-40 years old, assess their risk and take the risk-reducing steps necessary to live brighter and healthier lives.

One of my favorite Brianna statements is...
“It’s the 21st century and it’s time to evolve and to start a new way of thinking about our health.”

And you can read many more of Brianna’s insights here.

In addition to all of the amazing acts that Brianna does every day, she has generously pledged a $10,000 match to the Brightest Day annual giving campaign through the Ellen Marks Cancer Foundation so that Bright Pink can reach even more women with its life saving information and resources.
Double my impact!
Between now and August 12, we hope that you will join Brianna to help make the vision of Bright Pink a reality for all women.

You can help us celebrate by:

  • Supporting our efforts to make the information, resources, and tools necessary to reduce breast and ovarian cancer risk available to even more women. You can make a personal donation or start a Facebook fundraiser to engage your friends and family.
  • Sharing your story by contributing to our wall of bright days! Use the #BPBrightestDay on Instagram to share how knowing your risk and taking charge of your health has led to your Brightest Days. Your post will be added to our wall of bright days within 15 mins after you post on Instagram.
  • Amplifying our impact and efforts by sharing Bright Pink’s educational resources with the women you love. You can do that directly with the women in your life and you can like our Brightest Day social posts on Instagram or Facebook to spread the word! You never know who you might encourage to learn about and manage her risk. You might ultimately save a life.
We are proud of the work we have done to support women, but we have so much more to do to ensure that all women have the information and tools they need to take charge of their health. With your support, we can illuminate a brighter future in which all women can live their brightest days.
Match my gift!
Sincerely,
Ginny Ehrlich,
CEO
