The 4th Sunday of Advent: Peace

THE FORTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT: PEACE
Christmas is just days away. After a month of inner preparation for the coming of Christ, the fourth week of Advent is focused on PEACE. Ignatian Yoga co-founder Bobby Karle, SJ offers an Ignatian Yoga Nidra inviting us to notice and dwell in the PEACE that descends upon us as we welcome Christ into our midst.

This session combines the practices of Ignatian Contemplation, a type of imaginative prayer, and Yoga Nidra, a process of non-doing and progressive relaxation.

Before you begin:
  • Set up your space in a way which will allow you to be comfortable and undisturbed in order to enter into this practice as fully as possible.
  •  It is ideal to lay on your back in savasana for the duration of the practice (about 25 mins), however, you may choose to remain seated or lay on your side.
  •  A thin pillow under the head and a blanket over the body are recommended.

Advent Blessings!
