This Week at the New Orleans Museum of Art ("NOMA")

Helen Gillet will present three original livestreaming concerts inspired by Mending the Sky over the course of the exhibition.

HELEN GILLET PERFORMS IN LIVESTREAM CONCERT ON DECEMBER 6

In conjunction with Mending the Sky, singer-songwriter and self-proclaimed surrealist-archaeologist Helen Gillet will weave together a soundscape using cello, drum machine, sounds in nature, loop pedal, poetry, and storytelling. View her livestream concert on Sunday, December 6, at 6 pm on either the home page of noma.org or NOMA's YouTube channel.

CONTACTLESS TICKETING

Prepaid, contactless ticketing is encouraged for museum visits: Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Wednesdays are free for all Louisiana residents courtesy of The Helis Foundation.

Renowned classical musician Pablo Casals was the inspiration behind a towering sculpture of bronze cellos by the artist Arman that rises out of a lagoon in the Besthoff Sculpture Garden.
