Join us in person and online to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by immersing yourself in art and culture. NOMA will be offering FREE admission during special holiday hours on Monday, January 18, from 10 am to 3 pm. Complimentary family guides exploring the themes of courage and care, and featuring works in the NOMA collection, will be available at the museum and on our website.
OBJECT LESSON
A Corning "Lens Bowl" in the decorative arts collection provides an example of how industrial design influenced luxury art glass in the 1930s.
WELLNESS
A free virtual workshop will be held on Friday, January 15, at 6 pm that focuses on mindfulness, creativity, comfort, and reflection, led by Freedom At The Mat creator Olivia F. Scott.
VIRTUAL WORKSHOP
In conjunction with the exhibition Mending the Sky, astrologer and herbalist practitioner Myrto Daskaloudi will lead an introduction to the history of astrology on Friday, January 22, at 6 pm.
BOOK CLUB
NOMA's Book Club will meet for its first virtual session of 2021 on Friday, January 15, at 12 pm with a curatorial program related to the reading selection of Ninth Street Women by Mary Gabriel.
MUSICIANS FROM HOME
NOMA presents a series of virtual concerts by music’s best and brightest performing from their homes. Catch a video of Brazilian-born guitarist Geovane Paivo Santos.
ART-MAKING ACTIVITY
In this imaginative exercise for all ages inspired by artist Wassily Kandinsky, an abstract drawing can be created by tracing household objects in a variety of shapes.

Café NOMA is currently open Thursday through Sunday, 11 am to 3 pm. Savor artisanal flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, and veggie bowls alongside an artful assortment of freshly baked pastries.
