Lawyers in Libraries 2021: Ask-a-Lawyer Consultations

Free, limited legal services from attorneys across the state. Get answers about bankruptcy, evictions, foreclosures, divorce, and more. Information about criminal matters is not available.

 

Meet one-on-one with an attorney for 15 - 20 minutes to ask about your legal issue. Sessions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Healthy Relationships 101: A Guide to Developing Healthy Relationships

Learn about healthy and unhealthy relationships, communicating, and setting boundaries. Find local resources for those experiencing abuse.

 

Discuss how to develop healthy relationships, and how to identify unhealthy or abusive relationships, with the New Orleans Health Department (NOHD). Gain effective communication skills, and define consent and boundaries. Learn how you can offer support if someone discloses an instance of domestic and dating violence. Get connected with available local resources.
