VIRTUAL PROGRAM

The current exhibition Queen Nefertari’s Egypt showcases 230 objects from the collection of the Museo Egizio in Turin, Italy. Founded in 1824, the Museo Egizio was the first museum dedicated to the collection and preservation of Egyptian antiquities.

Join Christian Greco, Director of the Museo Egizio, for a virtual talk about the history of the museum, its significant collection, and its current research initiatives.

OBJECT LESSON

Lewis W. Hine’s images of child laborers in factories, textile mills, meatpacking plants and mines prompted legal reform and set a standard for documentary photography in the United States.
