Wheat and Caffeine for this year's challenge! For the first time ever we are breaking the barrier and will have both locally grown, certified organic, whole wheat flour and local green and black tea (Camellia Sinensis) for Eat Local Challenge participants. Mayhew Bakery will be selling all local ingredient bread and pastries and providing cooking demos as well. J and D Blueberry Farms is growing the tea and it will come complimentary in each Eat Local Challenge participants starter bag. More on the flour here. Tea here.
