	Cancer Advocate, Sometimes, bad ideas speak for themselves. A new federal government proposal to expand a niche type of health insurance would have devastating consequences for cancer patients and survivors. And, it says so right there in their plan ... “...may further reduce choices for individuals” who need standard health coverage People who use these plans “and then develop chronic conditions could face financial hardship as a result” Those are actually direct quotes buried deep in the proposal. What they didn’t mention is even worse. These plans would be allowed to: Deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions like cancer Cap benefits on coverage Exclude coverage for prescription drugs and hospitalization Your members of Congress can help stop this. Send a message to your members of Congress now asking them to contact the Administration and insist they withdraw this terrible proposal. It takes less than a minute using our easy action form.
