Please join us on Wednesday, January 15th at 12pm CST/1pm EST for the next webinar in our Patients' Access webinar series, which will cover clinical trials.

Over the past 40 years, breast cancer treatment has greatly improved due to lessons learned through clinical trials. Clinical trials test the safety and benefits of new treatments as well as new combinations (or new doses) of standard treatments. They can also study other parts of care including risk reduction, diagnosis and screening.

This webinar will provide additional information on clinical trials, including eligibility and recent expansion efforts, the need to increase diversity of clinical trials, the government's role in clinical trials, and how patients can get more involved.

Speakers:
  • Molly Guthrie, Director, Public Policy & Advocacy, Susan G, Komen Center for Public Policy
  • Dr. Ian Krop, Chief of Breast Medical Oncology and the Director of Clinical Research for the Breast Oncology Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
  • Sheila McGlown, MBC Patient Advocate
  • Lindsey Trischler, Senior Policy Associate, Cavarocchi-Ruscio-Dennis Associates
