Take Action Now: Ask the Commissioner of the FDA to Elevate the Importance of Reporting of Patient Experience Data Dear Cathy, Join advocates from across the country today, March 4, for the Cancer Support Community’s Virtual Advocacy Day!  As a person impacted by cancer, you know that what matters to patients encompasses more than just the physical and biological impacts of treatments but also the social, emotional, and logistical implications that patients deal with. While much has been done to ensure that the full patient experience informs health care policies, we need you to make your voice heard to build on this progress. Now is the time to reach out to the Commissioner of the FDA and ask him to elevate the importance of reporting of patient experience data. Take Action Meaningful patient experience data allows us to better understand and address the full range of patient needs and concerns. Just as vital signs like heart rate, weight, and blood pressure can be measured, so can a patient’s full experience such as their psychosocial well-being. Take action today and make your voice heard!
