This week NOMA will host a Virtual Family Festival along with a Teen Summer Series workshop and a Community Sketchbook activity open to all. From online outreach to open doors, NOMA welcomes visitors through our website and on site.
NOMA is open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. The Besthoff Sculpture Garden on the same days, from 9:30 am to 5 pm. New guidelines are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit. Prepaid, contactless ticketing is encouraged for museum visits. Wednesdays remain free for Louisiana residents courtesy of The Helis Foundation.

Join us for a free Virtual Family Festival under the theme Courage and Care for Saturday, August 22, from 11 am to 3 pm. Advance registration is required for select sessions.
COMMUNITY SKETCHBOOK
Reflect and create with us through weekly sketchbook prompts. All ages, experience levels, and art-making mediums are welcome.
TEEN SUMMER SERIES
Teens are invited to participate in a series of virtual programs led by teaching artists. Join Cubs the Poet on Friday, August 21, at 4 pm for a workshop on the five senses and shaping identity.
NEW ACQUISITION
Originally commissioned in 1967 for the lobby of the Times-Picayune, a monumental work by artist Enrique Alférez will find a new home in NOMA's renovated auditorium complex.
