December Events at the New Orleans Public Library Digital Skills for Seniors 50+: Cloud Storage Learn how Cloud Storage tools can help you stay organized, so you can always find what you need.   This lecture covers the basics of cloud storage, a technology that lets you store documents, images, and other media files remotely while giving you easier access, reliability, and security. You'll learn what cloud storage is, why it's the future of data storage, and some of the most popular services currently available.    Cloud Storage takes place at the Library throughout December.   Find a Cloud Storage class near you The New Orleans Bookfair The 19th annual New Orleans Bookfair features activities for all ages, as well as works exhibited and available from local & independent authors, publishers, zinesters, and other literary riff-raff.   New Orleans Bookfair is an unpaid horizontal organizing committee comprised of local writers, poets, publishers, independent book sellers, activists, and educators.   Main Library Saturday, December 10 11am - 4pm Loopy Loopers: Crochet & Knitting Group Meet with other crafters to learn how to knit and crochet, share patterns, and advance your techniques.   This is a community-oriented crafting group, where people can learn the basics of both knitting and crocheting, exchange tips and patterns, and advance their stitching techniques.   Mid-City Library Saturday, December 10 2pm - 4pm Create or Polish your Resume and Interview Skills: Feel Confident On The Job Search Looking for employment or skills training? Expand your online job searching and resume building skills.
