August 1 is National Girlfriends Day. Girlfriends can be our sisters or mothers, cousins, neighbors, colleagues, or other important ladies in our lives. They are the ones who are there us 24/7 and have our backs. They listen to our secrets, share in our joy and sadness, and add richness to our lives. Friends can offer support, work out with you, and call your attention to matters you may be ignoring – including those relating to our health.
Learn some great information to help you and your girlfriends stay safe and healthy. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has some great health information on a variety of health topics we all need to hear. It’s more fun to be healthy when someone else is doing it WITH us, so be a friend and encourage good health with your best gal-pals.
